Which MTB Cycle brand is best in India?

Mountain bikes come in a variety of styles. One really wonders what is the best bicycle to buy in India. They differ in terms of geometry, tyre sizes, rigidity, weight, suspension, seat posts, and so on. One can buy MTB bicycle online in India.

The possibilities are endless, but they are generally classified as follows:

Rigid: There is no suspension on front or rear forks of these mountain bikes. There's not much to say here except that if you're a beginner and this is your preference for off-pavement / hard-pack dirt, you'll be beaten to a pulp and hate mountain biking already when you even get a chance to like it. These are versatile, comfortable bikes for riding on paving that are safer and easier to use than road bikes.

A hardtail is a mountain bike with suspension shocks on the front fork but no suspension on the rear fork. not the back. These are less expensive, allowing you to buy a bike with better, lighter components for your budget. Hardtail bikes are also more maneuverable than entry-level full-suspension bikes. Hardtail mountain bikes aren't just for beginners looking to save money: one‘s lighter weight and solidity make them good cross-country and racing bikes.

Full-suspension: Full-suspension bikes have front and rear suspension, which enhances comfort and allows you to keep riding more technical terrain. They are typically more expensive and heavier. Most inexperienced mountain bikers take long until they have been more experienced before purchasing their 1st full-suspension bike.

There are numerous options in this category, which can be further subdivided into the following categories:

1) Downhill or Park: These are full-suspension, heavy bikes with maximum suspension in the front (200 mm+) and rear of one's not-for-profit-uphill bike. They're what I call motocross bikes without the motor. The tires are large and very knobby.

2) All-mountain / Enduro: The term enduro comes from the world of motorcycle racing and refers to a competition in which downhill sections are timed but uphill sections are not. All-mountain/enduro mountain bikes are much more capable going uphill than downhill-specific bikes, but they are less flexible than XC or Trail bikes. They typically have more front suspension travel (around 150 mm) and are beefier than XC or Trail bikes with wider tyres.

3) Trail: The most popular mountain bikes, with reduced weight, mid-range front fork travel (120-150 mm), and bike geometry that prioritizes comfort over pure performance.

4) Cross-country (XC) mountain bikes are about speed and climbing for longer, epic backcountry rides. Low weight and efficient / smooth shifting are the most important variables in XC bikes. Rolling efficiency and pedaling take precedence over the bike's ability to handle technical terrain sections. Here, very gentle, expensive full-suspension bikes or frequently used hardtail best mountain bikes in India are used.

5) Fat bikes: These bikes are intended for riding on snow and sand, as well as anywhere that requires ridiculously large tyres (as wide as 5 inches) for highest grip. Fat bikes are everywhere.

All above types drive the complete technical know -how of the MTB category for Bikes. One needs to select the same as per the exact requirement by considering the technical specifications given.
